Lynn youth encouraged to take advantage of MBTA Youth Pass

The City of Lynn is a participating city in the MBTA’s Youth Pass Program. The Youth Pass Program provides thousands of qualified young people with affordable transportation and offers numerous benefits.

Youth Pass cardholders receive reduced fares on bus, subway, Commuter Rail, Express Bus, and ferry-including roughly 50% reduced one-way fares and $30 monthly LinkPasses for unlimited travel on bus, subway, and Fairmount Line Zone 1A stations.

Youth Pass cardholders can purchase half-price tickets for the Commuter Rail on board, at ticket windows, at fare vending machines, at retail sales locations, and via the Ticket app.

YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A YOUTH PASS CHARLIECARD IF YOU MEET THESE 3 REQUIREMENTS:

• You live in a participating city or town
• You are between 18 and 25 years old
• You are enrolled in MBTA-approved benefits, education, or job training program (like MASSGrant, MassHealth, SNAP, or Year Up)

La Ciudad de Lynn es una ciudad participante en el Programa de Pase para Jóvenes de MBTA. El Programa de Pase para Jóvenes brinda a miles de jóvenes calificados transporte asequible y ofrece numerosos beneficios.
