LCTV News | 2023 Frederick Douglass Speech Reading (July 3, 2023)
The annual Fredrick Douglass speech reading took place at the Lynn Museum this past Monday, July 3rd. The speech “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” was read aloud by elected officials and members of the community during this event. There were also musical performances and more for the community to enjoy during this annual tradition. This event was organized by Mass Humanities & the North Shore Juneteenth Association.
