This week on the LCTV News we reported on United Lynn Pride looking for LGBTQ+ stories, a Lynner’s short film heading to a festival, Mayor Nicholson being appointed to Bloomberg Leadership Initiative, local sports, and more news from the week. We also show recaps of the Red rock Concert Series, Raw’s VanGo! Program, & more events from around the city. On the Lynn Lowdown we featured two interviews this week, with The Food Project & Lifescene’s upcoming Family Fun Day. First up was LifeScene, visiting us to discuss their 16th Annual Family Fun Day on August 5, 2023 on Lynn Common. Executive Director Selvin Chambers talked with Dani about all the festivities, and how a number of other local organizations collaborate for both entertainment and resources for the community. There will be dozens of resource tables, games, giveaways of all kinds, and more for children of all ages all afternoon.
