The annual Lynn Shannon Community Safety Initiative Legislative Breakfast was held on April 30, 2024 at North Shore Community College. Representatives from Lynn Police Department, Lynn DPW, LYSOA, and more talked about the impact of the Shannon Safety Initiative on youth and their organizations. The Shannon Safety Initiative aims to curb violence and gang activity via outreach, case management, youth leadership training, and job opportunities for Lynn youth ages 14-24.
