United Lynn Pride Seeks Stories And Memories From Lynn’s LGBTQ+ Community

Add your memories to Lynn’s LGBTQ+ history archive, before it closes.
United Lynn Pride has conducted 32 interviews to preserve the LGBTQ+ history of Lynn for future generations. A new self-recording process lets you record a memory, story or statement by yourself, without an interviewer. You can record anything about LGBTQ+ and Lynn. The video self-recording process is a lot like Zoom. You can re-record, reject or save a recording.
The deadline for recording is September 5, 2024
After you fill out the form you will be sent an instructions PDF and given permission to the recording app.
United Lynn Pride is also hosting a memories collection event to collect photos, videos, documents, news clippings, bar napkins, matchbooks, T-shirts, hats and anything that helps tell the story of Lynn’s LGBTQ+ history. Bring your materials to the Lynn Museum, 590 Washington St. on Wednesday September 4 from 4:00 – 7:00. Free admission to the exhibit, Through a Rainbow Lens, A Reflection on Lynn’s LGBTQ+ History.
The above information was submitted to us by United Lynn Pride.
