LCTV News | October 11, 2024 – Full broadcast
This week on LCTV News we cover some of the big headlines of the past week including Lynn Ferry service extended, Lynn Community Health Center earning funding, Through A Rainbow Lens now available virtually, and more big news from this past week. We also show recaps of the Lynn Woods playground ribbon cutting, pickle-boo tournament, and more from around the city.
The Classroom to the Streets Fellowship was the focus on this edition of the Lynn Lowdown. Al Wilson (Founder & Executive Director) from Beyond Walls was joined by Renice Cooper (Art teacher & CCTS Fellow) & Claire Donnelly (Art Therapist & CTTS Fellow) from the Lynn Public Schools to discuss this partnership. The aim of this program was to get students out of the classroom and working with artists. Students learn about the process, talk with the artists, and the finished artwork reflected those conversations.
