Mentorship Spotlight & Recruitment Event
February 11 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST
Through a community partnership, the Mayor’s Office will host a Mentorship Spotlight & Recruitment Event to connect residents with local youth support and mentorship programs, while also recruiting volunteers to become mentors for the City’s young people.
Who can be a mentor?
Residents of any age interested in closing the mentorship gap through forming empowering relationships with our young people through guidance, influence, example, and impact.
Movie Showing Pixar’s “Soul”
Lynn Auditorium from 4-6pm
Join us for a free screening of Pixar’s “Soul”, a heartwarming film that explores the themes of mentorship, personal growth, and finding purpose. This film is family-friendly.
Mentorship Tabling
City Hall Foyer from 6-8pm
Several local youth-centered organizations offering mentorship programs will be represented, providing residents with the opportunity to learn about their resources. If your organization is interested in participating, contact Sarita Ago at sago@lynnma.gov.
