Summer events at the Library
Curious Creatures on July 17th – The Children’s Department invites you to join us for Curious Creatures. Come and interact with a variety of exotic animals, while learning more about each one. Please call the Children’s Department at 781-595-0567 ext. 110 to inquire/register. Please no large groups or organizations.
Service Dog Project on July 24th – Meet service dogs and learn how they do their jobs! Service dogs in training and their trainers from Service Dog Project will visit the library, show the important jobs the dogs have and tell about how they are trained! Service Dog Project is a non-profit organization located in Ipswich, MA that raises and trains certified service dogs for people who need help with balance or mobility.
Children’s Musician Mary Beth Maes on July 25th – Please join local musician , Marybeth Maes for a children’s music program with dancing, instruments and sing a longs. It will be fun for the whole family. Call 781-595-0567 ext. 110 to inquire and register. No large groups or organizations please.
Children’s Library Olympics on July 31st – Join Miss Teri and Miss Sue for outdoor Library Olympics on the lawn. Games may include water balloon toss , hula hoop contest and corn hole toss. Please call 781-595-0567 ext. 110 to inquire/register. Please no large groups or organizations. This is an outdoor event. WEATHER PERMITTING.
Miss Frizzle’s Dinosaur Show on August 7th – Come see Carole Finn as Miss Frizzle from the Magic School Bus in the land of the Dinosaurs! Fun for the whole family. Call 781-595-0567 ext. 110 to inquire/register. Please no large groups/organizations.
Children’s Tie Dye on the Lawn – Tie dye your very own t-shirt on the lawn. One t-shirt per person. First come, first served. Supplies are limited. You may bring your own t-shirts to dye.
