Kings Beach UV Treatment Pilot Ribbon Cutting | July 25, 2025

The City of Lynn and Town of Swampscott held a ribbon cutting for the King’s Beach Ultraviolet (UV) Pilot Program on July 25, 2025. This is a three month initiative running from June through August to deliver a cleaner beach for all this season.

The King’s Beach UV Pilot Program Site is located at the intersection of Eastern Ave. and Humphrey Street. Speakers included Mayor Nicholson, Interim Town Administrator Cresta, Congressman Moulton, Senator Crighton, Representative Armini, and UV Pilot Program Interns.
