“Downtown In Color” Public Art Banner Series Launches this Thursday
From the City of Lynn: Lynn Main Streets, in partnership with the City of Lynn, invites the community to attend Downtown in Color, a kickoff ceremony celebrating Downtown Lynn’s newest public art banner series and the talented artist whose work now lines our streets.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 26 at 12:00 PM at the Laces of Lynn Structure, located at the intersection of Exchange Street and Mt. Vernon Street in downtown Lynn.
Downtown in Color marks the official launch of a vibrant new banner project designed to bring energy, creativity, and pride to the heart of the city. The banner series showcases original artwork that reflects Lynn’s diversity, culture, and creative spirit while transforming downtown streetscapes into an open-air gallery.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet and celebrate the featured banner artist
- Learn more about the vision behind the project
- Connect with community members, business owners, and city leaders
- Experience the impact of public art in downtown Lynn
The banner initiative is part of Lynn Main Streets’ ongoing efforts to support downtown revitalization through placemaking, arts, and small business engagement. By investing in public art, the organization continues to build a vibrant, walkable downtown that reflects the creativity and resilience of the Lynn community.
This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend and help celebrate this exciting new chapter for Downtown Lynn.
