From the Lynn Democratic City Committee: On Sunday, June 14, the Lynn Democratic City Committee will host the six Democrats running for the 6th Congressional District for a unique networking opportunity.
The format of the afternoon will not be that of a traditional question-and-answer forum or debate. Instead, the goal is for voters to meet the candidates and for candidates to meet the voters. Participants will be split into small groups and candidates will rotate around the groups to take questions and engage in discussions. This informal format will allow voters to connect more directly with candidates and to raise the issues of greatest importance to them.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 14th, from 4:00pm-6:30pm in the Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development Community Room, 10 Church Street, Lynn. Refreshments will be provided. There will also be a virtual option to participate on Zoom for those who cannot make it in person.
All six Democratic candidates running for the 6th Congressional District–Beth Andres-Beck, John Beccia, Jamie Belsito, Dan Koh, Dr. Mariah Lancaster, and Representative Tram Nguyen–have confirmed their attendance.
This event is free and open to the public. Please contact Lynn Democratic City Committee co-chair Jean Michael Fana at
lynndems@gmail.com for more information or to request the Zoom link.
The primary election takes place Tuesday, September 1st.
