Applications now available for FY24 Lynn Cultural Council Grants

The Lynn Cultural Council (LCC) is currently accepting applications for its FY24 grants. Applicants have until October 17th to apply, and the LCC will be awarding just under $100K in grant money. Registration and Application are quick and easy, and more information is below.

These grants are available to applicants residing in Massachusetts in any of the following categories: individuals, Non-Profits Organizations, Community Groups, For-Profit Organizations, Municipal Government Organizations, & Religious Organizations. These Grants are for projects/activities that support the cultural vitality of the community in the categories of the Sciences, Humanities, and Arts, as defined by the Mass Cultural Council (MCC) below

  • Sciences –  types of learning that deal with nature, science, and technology in ways that explain how they relate to people’s lives
  • Humanities –  types of learning that deal with human values and aspirations, human thought and culture, language, and creativity. 
  • Arts the creation of work in the crafts and performing, visual, media, folk, design, literary, and inter-disciplinary arts. They also include the presentation, preservation of, and education about works in these disciplines 

These grants can be used for a broad range of projects and programs, such as operating support, ticket subsidies, field trips, artist residencies, public art, fellowships, community events/programs, site specific projects, and more.
