City of Lynn Celebrates Earth Month With Contest
From the City of Lynn: Join the City of Lynn in celebrating our planet and working together to take action to protect our local environment.
Submit a photo of you doing one of the actions below or a statement on how you care for the planet. Submissions will be shared with the community via the City’s official social media channels. Participants will receive an honorary Earth Month certificate from Mayor Nicholson.
- Utilize the City’s Curbside Textile Waste Program or Textile Waste Donation Bins
- Volunteer at a City park clean-up event
- Clean a storm drain
- Pick up litter in your neighborhood
- Utilize the City’s Community Compost Pilot Program
- Read a book on sustainability
- Join or volunteer at a community garden
- Properly sort your recycling bin
- Sign up for a curbside Black Earth Compost Bin with the City
- Take a walk or ride a bike
- Or any green effort of your preference!
Deadline for submissions: Tuesday, April 21st
