2025 Liberation for All

July 4 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

Support LCTV with your membership

Liberation for All is an annual event centered on the ongoing pursuit of freedom, independence, and liberation for marginalized communities—particularly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Held on the Fourth of July, this gathering reclaims the holiday as a moment of reflection and action.

This initiative builds on Diverse People United’s annual Occupy Wyoma Square Protest, which features local activists, performers, and a powerful reenactment of Frederick Douglass’ What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?

The event will begin with speakers at the Manning Field at 12pm, followed by a march to Wyoma Square and back to Manning Field.

The above information was submitted to us by Diverse People United.
