2025 Shoe City Series | LFD & LPD Family Fun Day 5K

Please note: more information on the Family Day will be announced, this listing is only for the 5K.

The Lynn Fire and Police Family Day 5k is run up at beautiful Lynn Woods at Great Woods Road. Bill Mullen and Joe Abelon  who coordinate the historic Lynn  Woods Wednesday Race series mark our course and keep the runners times. We run a true 5k and a shorter 1.5 mile kids race all on the main Fire road.

The race begins on May 31st at 11am, the Family Day event starts at 10am. Packets may be picked up from the Broadway Fire Station on Thursday May 29th @ 5:30pm.

The Shoe City Series is a collection of four 5K races throughout the year. Each race is a different course in a different part of the city and a different time of the year. This is designed to give the participants a view of our entire city and to highlight some of its many beautiful features and areas.

• Hibernian 5K – March 23rd
• Lynn Fire & Police Family Day 5K – May 31st
• Clock to The Rock 5K – September 18th
• Turkey Trot 5K – November 27th
