2026 Community Cookout & Backpack Giveaway
July 25 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm EDT
From the Lynn First Church of the Nazarene: D.J., backpacks with school supplies will be given away while supplies last – First come, first served beginning at 11am. Lynn Police will be giving out ice cream beginning at 12 noon. Hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks will be provided. Information on Community resources will be available at tables.
The Reading Frederick Douglass Together event, hosted by Nicole McClain and Juneteenth Association, will begin at 1pm inside the church with readings, dance and music.
