2026 North Shore Veterans & First Responders Parade

From the Lynn Veterans Council: The Lynn Veterans Council is currently looking for volunteers, marchers, sponsors, and donations – more details will be announced closer to the event.
The Lynn Veterans Council will be holding a parade to remember, honor, and never forget those individuals who lost their lives in that terrible terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11. It is the 25th anniversary for the Global War on Terror, and of course the 250th Birthday of America.
As of today, there are 8 marching bands, 3 Grand Marshals (Veterans Grand Marshal, Police Grand Marshal, and Fire Grand Marshal), 20 military vehicles to include a tank, 7 local Junior ROTC Programs, numerous military organizations, numerous police vehicles (old & new), numerous fire trucks, and 2 trolleys to have veterans and first responders that cannot walk the parade, but want to be in the parade so they can ride.
Parade route
The parade route is about 1.5 miles in length. It will start on Centre St, turn left onto Western Ave, proceed down Western Ave, turn left onto Tucker St, then turn left onto Maple St, then turn right onto Ford St, and end at Manning Field.
