From the Lynn Museum & Arts Center: It’s that time of year again: Trails & Sails is here in Essex County! We are delighted to participate in this year’s lineup of free activities at the Lynn Museum & Arts Center as part of the festivities.

Learn how Lynn’s sharp-tongued pastors lit the fire that ignited the city into rebellion. Join the Lynn Museum & Art Center’s Collections Manager, Christopher Locke, for a discussion of Lynn’s involvement in the fateful events of April 19th, 1775, from the soldiers who met the British in the field to the loved ones at home who helped sustain the revolution.

Before the event, get a look at the Museum’s display of Revolutionary War artifacts. Light refreshments available. Doors open at 6 pm and the lecture begins at 6:30 pm.

Register here!

Admission to the museum is free on the days of our Trails & Sails events. We hope to see you here to celebrate the history and creativity of Essex County.
