Christen and Launch of the Teresa Marie

From Small Dog Boatworks: Join us! It’s time to christen and launch our latest build – the Swampscott Dory, the Teresa Marie!
She is a faithful reproduction of an 1800s era Swampscott Dory, the pinnacle of dory design on the North Shore for over 200 years, well into the 20*h century. She was built by senior student boatbuilders from Lynn English with Kayak and Sail Lynn and Small Dog Boatworks from February to June 2026.
We scheduled the launch so it can be a kickoff for the big Lynn Arts Festival, starting at noon in Central Square, and we’re going to host a little “Windjammer Brunch” inspired by the tall ships from Camden – fresh baked muffins, sticky buns and a special treat, authentic Maine Congo Bars (and coffee, of course).
