Installation Service for new Pastor Elect of Zion Baptist Church

From Zion Baptist Church: This historic congregation, known as “The Church That Puts Love into Action”, will present to the community: “The Rev. Dr. Devin E. West (formally of Franklin, Kentucky) as the New Senior Pastor for Zion.”

Zion is excited after this 2 ½ year pastoral search to begin this new journey.  For over 124 years we have and will continue to be a staple in the City of Lynn under our new leadership. We ask for your prayers as we embrace a Renewed Covenant of Building Together and putting love into action.

The Rev, Dr. West, earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. He also holds a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, where he graduated Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee.  Dr. West serves as a chaplain at Bridgewater State Hospital and as adjunct faculty at Queens College of Theology.

Dr. West previously served as Senior Pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ohio, from 2018 to 2026, and has held pastoral and leadership roles in Kentucky and Indiana.

Dr. West is married to Sandra Andrade-West, and together they share the blessing of four children: Devron, Dasani, Dominique, and Destiny.
