The 50th Annual Great Stew Chase

From the Wyoma Lions Club: The Great Stew Chase is a 15-kilometer road race held annually in Lynn, Mass., organized by the Wyoma Lions Club. The race is the third oldest 15K in the US, having started in 1975.

Most run the full 15K at 10:00AM. Two alternatives are offered. One is a 9:30AM start for slower runners and the second is a 2 person relay with each person running half the distance starting at 10:00AM. Course Limit is 2 Hours. Anyone expecting to be close to the two hour finishing limit can start at 930am. The course will be marked.

After the run, the runners will be treated to a bowl of traditional stew.

Registration costs for 15K individual

  • $45.99 until January 9
  • $51.49 from January 10 – 31
  • $62.48 on race day, February 1

Registration costs for 2 by 4.6 mile relay

  • $56.99 until January 9
  • $67.98 from January 10 – 31
  • $78.98 on race day, February 1

About the Wyoma Lions Club

Wyoma Lions Club has long engaged itself in community service and fundraising. We give 100% of donations back to the community and cover all costs through dues and donations from members. We raised over $200,000 for eye research and for other charities in Lynn.
