The Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund (LHSF) was established in 1991 by a group of volunteer Latino community members who wanted to assist and support Lynn Hispanic/Latino high school graduates in their transition to college.
Since its inception, the LHSF has been celebrating and awarding over 300 scholarships to Lynn High School graduates, a majority of whom come from homes with limited incomes and are first time college goers. Every year their selection committee awards about 12 scholarships in the range of $1,000 to $2,500 to help students pursue a higher education. Over the years the LHSF has awarded nearly $150,000.00 in scholarship funds to well-deserved students.
The Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund will award scholarships based on educational achievements and community involvement. Applications will be screened by the LHSF and final selections will be made by the Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund Selection Committee. All decisions are final.
To be eligible to apply for the LHSF you must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be accepted at a two- or four-year accredited institution of higher education, as an undergraduate student during the fiscal year following the grant award, in order to receive the scholarship
