October 20th is Community Media Day!
Every year on October 20th we celebrate Community Media Day and all the local voices who share their creativity, information, opinions and events with the city of Lynn and communities beyond. Lynn Community Television appreciates each and every member, producer, organization and sponsor – and the audience that views us on cable, lynntv.org and social media.
As your Community Media Access Center, we’re your free speech platform and training center where you can learn to use state-of-the-art equipment to craft your message to distribute on cable, streaming platforms and more. We’re also a space where you can sip your coffee and access the web from a desktop computer, where your organization can book a conference room with projector, or host a special film screening in our studio/movie theatre.
Plus, LCTV News covers events throughout the city and maintains the most comprehensive community events calendar.
We also open up unfiltered and un-processed access to the workings of city government through our coverage of City Council and various boards and committees.
As Executive Director, I would like to personally thank Mayor Nicholson for his Community Media Day message (EDITOR’S NOTE: This message is from 2022). I am also personally inviting you, the current or former LCTV member or prospective member, to come on down!
Happy Community Media Day!
Seth Albaum
Executive Director, Lynn Community Television
