In the heart of Lynn’s Arts & Cultural District, the Lynn Museum preserves and illuminates the city’s remarkable history. Be sure to visit the Lynn Museum (590 Washington Street) to view their latest exhibitions, purchase Lynn-themed goods in their shop, and enjoy art-making activities. They will have the Brickyard Collaborative presenting their boatbuilding program. You’ll see the boat they built over April vacation, a different type of boat they’re currently making, and you can create or decorate an origami boat or miniature wood model! Great stuff for all ages! As an added treat, their talented members, artists, and craftspeople will be there showing their work for a pop-up market.

In collaboration with the Lynn Museum, LynnArts is opening its doors to the public once a year during Downtown Lynn Open Studios. The public is invited to visit the 30+ artists, explore their studios and purchase their artwork. Galleries at LynnArts (GALA) is organizing an art fair on the first floor with vendors in the Main Gallery, the Community Galleries and The Vault Theater. Galleries At LynnArts has also its Member Show up on its walls with 96 pieces of artworks created by 37 artists from the North Shore. The Gallery Shop will be opened and is a little gem of hand-made goods from local artists. It all takes place in a building that has become the hub of an emerging arts district in Downtown Lynn. The LynnArts building is located at 25 Exchange Street.
