Members of the Lynn Cultural Council were our guests on this edition of the Lynn Lowdown. Cristian Recinos (Chair) & Sunil Gulab (admin) sat down with Dani to discuss the process for their grants, how the two originally got involved, and why a cultural council is so important for a City like Lynn with a thriving arts community. The Lynn Cultural Council is a part of the MA Cultural Council’s network and “promotes excellence, inclusion, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities, and sciences, fosters a rich cultural life for all Massachusetts residents, and contributes to the vitality of communities and economy.” For more information you can visit their website by clicking here.
