LCTV News | Take Back The Night march (April 19, 2023)
Yesterday the YWCA North Shore Rape Crisis Center hosted their annual “Take Back The Night” march. This was done as a way to honor survivors of sexual violence during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Community members gathered at the gazebo on Lynn Common before marching to the LHAND offices for a speaking program. The YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts was founded in 1892 to provide safe housing, job training and support to women moving from rural communities and overseas to work in area mills and shops.
