Mayor Nicholson’s office looking for local poets

We’re inviting local writers, poets, and artists to share a poem with the City!

Here is how to participate:

• Record a video of yourself reading or performing either a self-written poem or your favorite poem written by someone else
• Submit your video to Valerie Vong, the Communications Manager in the Mayor’s Office via email
• Videos will be posted onto the City of Lynn’s official social media pages and later to Mayor Nicholson’s YouTube channel

Here are the rules:

• Video submissions should be free of explicit content, profanity and vulgarity
• Video duration should be no longer than 5 minutes
• Videos should be filmed horizontally
• Community members of all ages and occupations are encouraged to participate (ex: students, teachers)
• Video submissions should be no later than is April 28th
