On July 22, 2022 elected officials from both the City of Lynn & Lynn’s state delegation held a press conference regarding the MBTA Commuter Rail station. This was to give an update in regards to the MBTA’s initial decision to close the station for 3+ years starting July 25th. The MBTA has now decided to hold off on closing the station, until the design phase is completed and work is set to begin. In this press conference our elected officials react to this news and provided what little information the MBTA gave.
