The first Afro Diaspora Festival in Lynn happened this past Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022 at the Lynn Museum. This festival, organized by Prevent The Cycle, aimed to “bring together Afro-descendant people of different ethnicities in our city, celebrate our Afro roots and have a dialogue about the ways we identify ourselves (or dont) and how it creates barriers to building political power.” The community was invited down to enjoy food, music, local vendors, & more.
