Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) is working hard to advocate for community education that furthers prevention of breast cancer and other environmentally-linked diseases.

We take pride in our efforts to provide the youth of Massachusetts and beyond with information and resources they can use to safeguard themselves against exposures to toxic chemicals.

Our Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You Can Take Student Modules are part of a free environmental education program that educators and students can use to encourage conversations around environmental exposures to toxins. The Student Modules use evidence-based research to create age-appropriate, fun, and educational activities for elementary, middle, high school, and homeschool students. We developed these Student Modules in partnership with Silent Spring Institute, supported with funding by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).

At MBCC, we are committed to providing communities accurate and up-to-date information on the harms of environmental toxins, recognizing that scientific knowledge is constantly evolving. To ensure our programs reflect the most recent science, we monitor research publications and findings, and revise our educational materials as needed.

We would like to thank our community members for their continued support of our mission to eradicate breast cancer and other environmentally-linked diseases. Educators and parents can empower our adolescent community through age-appropriate health education. Let’s work together to provide the tools and guidance needed for our children to thrive, so that they can make their own positive impact on the world.
