Essex County Sheriff Kevin Coppinger was our guest on this edition of the Lynn Lowdown. The focus of this episode was on the STAR Program and initiatives the Sheriff’s office are taking. The Supporting Transitions and Re-entry (STAR) Program is a transitional job and education program where inmates can begin while incarcerated and continue after to reduce recidivism.
