Lynn Ski Program Returns, Registration Now Open

From the Lynn Dept. of Public Works: The Lynn Parks & Recreation Department’s popular ski program for Lynn students in the 3rd grade and up is back!

This program will run for 6 weeks on Friday evenings from January 9 – February 13, 2026 at the Bradford Ski Area in Bradford, MA. The bus will depart from Lynn at 3:30pm sharp with students able to ski and snowboard from 5-9pm. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.


Registrations & full payment must be submitted by Friday, December 5, 2025. Additional $20.00 to the rate above for enrollment received after Dec. 5, 2025

ski packages

  • Package A: Use of lift & transportation – $550
  • Package B: One Hour Ski Lesson, use of lift & transportation – $690
  • Package C: One Hour Snowboard Lesson, use of lift & transportation – $690
  • Additional Cost, not included in packages:
    • Skis, Boots & Poles – $140
    • Snowboard & Boots – $140
    • Helmet – $30

All those choosing Package B or C must select ski/snowboard ability

ski/snowboard Ability

Beginner:
No experience, unable to turn or control skis or snowboard.

Novice:
Having previous skiing or snowboarding experience, able to turn or control skis in a wedge position & prefers easy, moderate terrain. Snowboarders can sideslip, stop & take slight turns on easy, moderate terrain.

Intermediate:
Able to control & turn skis in a wide track position, sometimes perform skiing parallel turns with varied speed & terrain. Snowboarders can turn with a slight carve & prefer a variety of speed & terrain.

Advanced:
Able to consistently perform skiing parallel turns, ski aggressively & prefer steeper, more challenging terrain.
Snowboarders can carve turns & prefer aggressive speed & terrain.
