We also feature a clip from a documentary on High Rock Tower, two Lowdown interviews, and more.

On the first Lowdown this week we welcomed Project Citizenship. On the second Lynn Lowdown this week we featured the assistive technology startup from Lynn VocaSafe Watch. Founder & CEO Catherine Katambo joined us to discuss why she created this watch, what it does, how it could assist those that need Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools, and more. The VocaSafe watch will be able to track via GPS, send SOS alerts to designated caregivers, has a multi-lingual communication aspect, and more. This was the last episode of the LCTV News with News Director Dani Vittori. We wish Dani the best and look forward to following her career as she begins her work at WMUR in NH. Thank you Dani!

As for LCTV News, what we know now is that it will not be the same, but that it will continue in new form. LCTV will still cover events when able, though the end-of-week newscast will go on hiatus and staff will start developing a new program next week. Meanwhile, the 6am and 6pm time slots for local news will still feature our local coverage, and news packages will still post to lynntv.org and our social media. This is a tough time, as community media outlets like ours face a sharp decline in funding. We appreciate your patience, continued support, and participation as volunteers.
