From the North Shore Juneteenth Association: The Black Excellence 5K is more than a race. It is a visible, collective statement that representation matters — in our neighborhoods, our organizations, our institutions, and our public spaces. Each year, this event brings together community leaders, families, businesses, and organizations to celebrate health, unity, and Black excellence across our community.

The Black Excellence 5K is the largest annual fundraiser for the North Shore Juneteenth Association. This effort directly supports programs such as Juneteenth Flag Raising ceremonies, educational initiatives, and community-building efforts throughout the year. Your participation helps ensure these programs remain accessible and impactful.
