From the City of Lynn Planning Department: Join us on Thursday, October 29 at the Lynn Museum to learn more about the South Harbor Urban Renewal Plan. Our friendly team and Spanish interpreters will be available from 2-7pm to share what we have heard from the community so far and hear your feedback and ideas. The South Harbor is already evolving, and this plan aims to ensure that it will continue to support the community’s needs. Stop by on 10/29 any time between 2 and 7!
In the Vision Lynn planning process, Lynners told us they wanted to see the transformation of the waterfront. The City has worked to advance this transformation through our South Harbor Implementation Plan (SHIP) and coordinated efforts throughout the neighborhood. However, we recognize that certain blighted properties in the area are limiting our ability to deliver on the community’s priorities, and have begun creating a South Harbor Urban Renewal Plan to ensure progress in this neighborhood can continue.
