GALA call for art, announces annual fundraiser

We are thrilled to announce an open call for submissions for our upcoming spring art exhibition themed around the captivating hue of pink. As the season of rejuvenation and renewal unfolds, we invite artists from all backgrounds and mediums to explore the myriad interpretations and expressions of this vibrant color.

In this showcase, we celebrate the essence of pink in all its forms and meanings. From soft pastels to bold magentas, from delicate blossoms to vivid sunsets, pink encompasses a spectrum of emotions, aesthetics, and cultural significance. Artists are encouraged to delve into the depths of this color, whether through literal representations or abstract interpretations, and to convey its essence in their unique artistic voices.

Take in is from May 8 – 11

• Wednesday, May 8th | 1:00pm – 6:00pm
• Thursday, May 9th | 1:00pm – 4:00 pm
• Friday May 10th | 10:00am – 1:00pm
• Saturday, May 11th | 12:00 – 4:00pm
• By Appointment

The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 6-9pm, and will also be GALA’s annual fundraiser. Join GALA for an evening of art, community, and philanthropy as we rally together to support GALA’s mission of empowering artists and enriching our community. This is a special fundraiser event to raise $25,000.00 in crucial funds for GALA’s community outreach programming and operational costs. Learn more with the linbk below.
