July 3rd Street Closures & Parking Restrictions, July 4th Traffic Advisory (UPDATED)
In preparation for the July 3rd Fireworks Celebration there will be several street closures and parking restrictions.
The annual Friends of Lynn & Nahant Beach concert series kicks off on July 3rd at 7pm with The Dirty Floorboards running until 9pm, with the annual Fireworks Show will taking place shortly after.
At 3:00 PM there will be no parking on Lynn Shore Drive, both sides of Prescott Rd and on the even side of Cherry Street. Vehicles in violation could be ticketed and towed.
At 6:00 PM Lynn Shore Drive will be closed to traffic until approximately 11pm. Traffic will be diverted to Nahant Street and Ocean Street. The side streets off of Ocean Street towards Lynn Shore Drive will be closed.
The Lynn Police Department has advised residents to please check their social media, in the event of any changes.
July 4th
There is a planned demonstration in the Wyoma Square area from 12pm – 2pm. As there may be traffic delays, seek alternate routes when possible.
