Popular Final Fridays Summer Series Returns, Encourages All Young Creatives To Step Into Their Power

Final Fridays is back and better than ever! Funded by the Creative Cities Lynn partnership through Mass Development, this monthly seasonal event series takes over the Downtown Lynn Cultural District for its sixth season.

Final Fridays is an ongoing programming initiative by the Lynn Museum & Arts Center dedicated to empowering the next generation of artists and creatives. Through music, art, fashion, and dance, we invite young visionaries to step into their power, build community, and celebrate their artistry. Join us all summer as we amplify the voices shaping tomorrow’s creative landscape!

Since 2020, the Lynn Museum & Arts Center (LMAC), in partnership with community stakeholders, has encouraged local artisans and creatives to showcase their artistry and connect with like-minded individuals, while supporting the small business economy in Lynn. In 2024, Final Fridays was reimagined to highlight the next generation of Black and POC artists, designers, musicians, dancers, and young creatives shaping our creative infrastructure.

Under the direction of Creative Engagement Producer Jah’Nyah Spencer, these events are curated especially for the 16-25 crowd—but don’t worry—everyone’s welcome! In Final Fridays’ tradition, each monthly event will focus on a different art form. The overall theme for the 2025 season is “Step Into Your Power,” encouraging creatives and participants to enter the Final Fridays space to explore what self-love and empowerment means for them.

Come vibe with us each last Friday of the month, May through September, and enjoy live performances, music, art activities, and networking with local artisans and creatives. ENTRY, FOOD, AND REFRESHMENTS ARE FREE!

LOCATION: Frederick Douglass Park in Lynn. In case of rain, events will be moved inside the Lynn Museum @ 590 Washington St. in Lynn
