Open House | Lynnway Multimodal Corridor Project

From the MBTA: The MBTA, City of Lynn, and DCR are working to make the Lynnway corridor safer, more accessible, and more connected.
Stop by any time between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM to speak with members of the project team and get your questions answered. Attendees can expect access to the same information provided at earlier events, which can be downloaded in the following languages:

Project Benefits
This project will redesign the Lynnway with people in mind and will include:

Safety improvements for people traveling along and across the Lynnway, with a focus on those who walk, bike, and ride transit:

Shorter, more accessible, and more frequent pedestrian crossings

Traffic calming to reduce speeding, especially during off-peak hours

Infrastructure to make bus trips faster and more reliable to the Blue Line, Ferry Terminal, Commuter Rail Station and downtown Lynn, along with enhanced bus stop amenities

Safer access to Lynn’s waterfront, new Harbor Park, and other green spaces

Dedicated bicycle infrastructure that provides safe connectivity to the Nahant Beach and progress towards a Northern Strand connection

Upgraded traffic signal infrastructure for more efficient operations
