Four Juveniles Arrested Following September 18 Incident

From the Lynn Police Department: Following an incident that occurred at McDonald’s on September 18, 2026, members of the Lynn Police Department immediately began a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Lynn Police Detective assigned to the Youth Services Unit conducted a follow-up investigation and identified four juveniles believed to have been involved. Based on the results of the investigation, arrest warrants were sought and obtained for all four juveniles.

On September 23, 2026, members of the Lynn Police Department located and arrested all four juveniles. The arrests were made with the assistance of detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID), Gang Unit, and Drug Task Force (DTF).

Each juvenile faces the following charges:

• Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
• Assault and Battery
• Disorderly Conduct
• Disturbing the Peace
• Trespassing
• Affray
• Civil Rights Violation with Injury

Following their arrests, all four juveniles were held pending their appearance in court and subsequently transported to juvenile detention facilities.

The Lynn Police Department recognizes the detectives and officers involved in the investigation, as well as the members of CID, the Gang Unit, and DTF who assisted in safely locating and taking the four juveniles into custody.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and detectives are continuing efforts to identify any other individuals who may have been involved in the incident.

Because those charged in this matter are juveniles, their identities will not be released.

All charges are allegations, and the juveniles are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
