We featured the organizers of the Lynn Shoemakers’ Strike Event Series, happening in Lynn from February 15 – 23, 2024 on this edition of the Lowdown. Lisa Connolly (Exectuive Director, Lynn Home For Women) & Michelle Guzman (Founder, Lynn Walking Shoes Tour) joined us to discuss the various events planned to commemorate this event from 1860. Resiliency of the human spirt is the theme of this event series, and they will highlight that through a series of talks and other events.
