Blessing of the Animals & Rabies Shot Clinic
September 27 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
From Grace UMC Lynn: Mark your calendars, animal lovers! On Saturday, September 27 at 1 p.m., Grace United Methodist Church is hosting a special Blessing of the Animals ceremony on our front lawn.
Whether your best friend is a dog, a cat, a hamster, a lizard, or a snake, bring them all! We’ll be offering individual blessings for every pet. If your furry (or scaly!) friend is a little shy, no problem—you can bring a photo of them instead. We’ll also have a Memorial Table so you can honor and remember any pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Everyone is welcome, no matter your faith!
All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier
We have some extra goodies for you and your pets, too:
- Pet Food Drive: We’re collecting pet food donations for the Northeast Animal Shelter, so please consider bringing a contribution if you can.
- Rabies Vaccination Clinic: VANS (Veterinary Association of the North Shore) will be on-site from 1-3 p.m. offering rabies vaccinations for only $10.00. Please bring proof of prior vaccination if you have it. All proceeds support scholarships for vet students!
