On this edition of the LCTV News we cover some of the big headlines of the past week including LCHS students promoting peace with a Senbazuru project, Lynn Fire Dept. reciting grant money, Magnolia Park reopening, and other big news this week. We also show recaps of the groundbreaking of the Lynn Interim Commuter Rail Station, Black Excellence display opening reception, and other events from over the last week.

On the first Lynn Lowdown we welcome the Creative Collective were our guests on this edition of the Lynn Lowdown. Tia Cole (Special Projects Manager) joined us to talk about how the Creative Collective is helping small businesses & creators while building the creative community on the North Shore. Tia went over recaps of events the past year, how they are building collaborative relationships, and how the Collective wants to expand in the future.

On Lowdown #2 we featured the organizers of the Lynn Shoemakers’ Strike Event Series, happening in Lynn from February 15 – 23, 2024. Lisa Connolly (Exectuive Director, Lynn Home For Women) & Michelle Guzman (Founder, Lynn Walking Shoes Tour) joined us to discuss the various events planned to commemorate this event from 1860. Resiliency of the human spirit is the theme of this event series, and they will highlight that through a series of talks and other events.
